"Catrike eCATs and retro fit e-KITs are now available. At the heart of the e-CAT line is the latest in electric-assist systems from industry leader Bosch. The result is a Catrike with the perfect combination of maximum efficiency, comfort and riding enjoyment. The efficient and versatile Bosch Active Line Plus electric-assist drive mated with a 1 x 11 drivetrain (11-42 cassette/44 tooth chainring) provides dynamic performance – guaranteeing an authentic riding sensation with minimal pedaling resistance."

The Bosch Active Line Plus (Class 1) electric-assist system features four power assist levels: Eco - 40%, Tour - 100%, Sport - 180% and Turbo - 270%. Each level also features a maximum drive torque to ensure smooth, gentle acceleration (even at low cadences, offering powerful assistance as soon as you step on the pedals). In addition, the system's multi-sensor technology and fast information processing ensures optimum interaction between you and your Catrike. The Bosch Active Line Plus delivers assist up to 32km/hour and a cadence of 105. The e-KIT i) will fit on any Catrike made from 2005 or newer (i.e. built for derailleur based drivetrains, as it features gear shift detection to provide seamless power through the full range of gears), ii) is made with Bosch components and iii) meets or exceeds all current safety standards and is UL2849 certified.

eCAT models include the Pocket, Villager, Expedition, Trail, MAX, 5.5.9 and Dumont. eCATs are available in 8 stunning color options: Moon Rock Silver; Liquid Black; Eon Green; Firefly Yellow; Atomic Orange; Lava Red; Candy Purple; and Electric Blue.

The Bosch Active Line + Electric Assist System includes:

• Motor mounted on a Catrike boom (equipped with the NEW SUPERNOVA Light System which it powered directly by your eCAT - the light system includes the MINI 2 headlight and TL3 PRO taillight to help keep you visible day and night without charging separate batteries)
• 36V 11Ah Battery
• Battery mounting bracket, sled, keys and charger
• Hardware for installation
• Necessary cables
